08/27: Welcome back Meeting
We had such a great time kicking off the semester at our first WIB meeting! Members connected through fun icebreakers and our executive team shared all the exciting events and opportunities coming up this semester.
09/10: robin chalecki speaker meeting
We had an amazing time hearing such an inspiring conversation with Robin Chalecki, founder of the Emily Griffith Foundation, as she shared her journey through nonprofit work, leadership, and driving impact through education.
09/17: SEPTEMBER membership event
We had so much fun at our membership event watching The Summer I Turned Pretty finale! It was the perfect way to unwind, enjoy some snacks, and spend time getting to know other members.
09/24: adulting 101 panel meeting
We loved hosting our Adulting 101 Panel, where incredible women shared their experiences and advice on navigating life after college. From career insights to personal growth tips, the conversation was inspiring, empowering, and full of valuable takeaways for all who attended.
09/26: SEPTEMBER philanthropy event
We had an incredible time volunteering at Boulderthon, supporting runners and giving back to our Boulder community! It was such a rewarding experience to come together as a club and make a positive impact while cheering on participants throughout the event.
10/08: alexa porter-magnuson speaker meeting
We loved hosting Alexa this week for an inspiring conversation on data-driven leadership and problem-solving. With over a decade of experience in sales, supply chain, and analytics, she shared how she’s transformed complex data into actionable strategies — from boosting Walmart sales by 107% to navigating global supply challenges during the pandemic. Her insights on strategy, adaptability, and storytelling left us feeling motivated and ready to take on any challenge!
10/17: october philanthropy event
We loved spending time volunteering at A Precious Child for our October philanthropy event! Our members helped support the organization’s mission to provide children in need with clothes, school supplies, and essential resources to thrive. From sorting donations to assembling care packages, it was an incredible opportunity to give back to our community and see the direct impact of our efforts.
We left feeling inspired by A Precious Child’s dedication to empowering families — and grateful for the chance to make a difference together!
10/22: mentor networking reception
We loved connecting with our incredible mentors and members at the Women in Business Mentor Networking Reception! The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, valuable insights, and inspiring stories from women across a variety of industries. From sharing career advice to building new connections, it was a wonderful opportunity to learn from one another and celebrate the power of mentorship within our community.
10/24: october membership event
We loved seeing so many of our members stop by for our October Membership Event! The afternoon was the perfect chance to refresh professional headshots outside Koelbel while enjoying the sunshine and connecting with fellow WiB members. It was a simple but meaningful way to support everyone’s professional growth and help our community feel confident stepping into new opportunities.
11/05: women in sports panel
We loved connecting with our amazing panelists and members at the Women in Sports Panel! The night was filled with powerful conversations, meaningful insights, and inspiring stories from women shaping the sports industry in Colorado and beyond. From discussing career journeys and breaking barriers to building new connections, it was an incredible opportunity to learn from one another and celebrate the impact of women leading the way in sports.
11/11: november membership event
Our November Membership Event brought a much-needed moment of calm during a busy semester. Members grabbed coffee, donuts, and a quick breather between classes, creating a cozy space to recharge and catch up with friends. It was the perfect study break and a reminder of the supportive community we’re building together.
11/14: wib after hours event
For our first-ever WiB After Hours event, we had an incredible evening networking with inspiring women from Intrinsic. Members had the chance to learn about their career paths, ask questions, and build meaningful connections in a relaxed, after-hours setting. The conversations were energizing, empowering, and a fantastic way to expand our professional horizons.
11/18: november philanthropy event
Our November Philanthropy Event centered around giving back, as our members came together to host a food drive in support of our local community. The generosity and enthusiasm from everyone involved made a meaningful impact, reflecting WiB’s commitment to service and collective action. It was inspiring to see our community show up so strongly for those in need.
11/05: jenny max speaker meeting
We had an amazing speaker meeting with Jenny Max from Ka’Chava, who shared insights from her marketing career and her journey across the consumer goods industry. Jenny brought samples of Ka’Chava protein powder for members to try, making the session both informative and interactive. Her authenticity and actionable advice left our members feeling motivated and energized.
12/03: #iamremarkable workshop
Our final speaker event of the semester featured Kiaya Caraway from Salesforce, who led an impactful I Am Remarkable workshop. Members explored themes of confidence, self-advocacy, and personal storytelling in a supportive environment. The session was empowering, reflective, and a powerful reminder of the importance of celebrating and owning our achievements.
