1/22: Intro & Networking Practice Meeting
It was wonderful to welcome both new and returning members at our first meeting of the semester! Our members were taught tips on how to network for the upcoming reception and go to introduce each other to fellow members. We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to kick things off with such great energy.
2/5: Networking Reception
What a night! Women in Business hosted our 2nd Annual Spring Networking Reception, bringing together over 100 members and representatives from 10+ companies. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, professional connections, and valuable insights.
We’re incredibly grateful to all the company representatives who joined us—your advice and experiences will continue to guide our members as they grow in their careers.
2/19: E&J Gallo Speaker Meeting
Women in Business had the pleasure of hosting Katie Garvin from E. & J. Gallo for an engaging and insightful evening. Katie shared valuable lessons on business etiquette and professional presence, leaving members with practical tools to navigate professional settings with confidence and poise.
2/20: February philanthropy event
Women in Business volunteers once a month! By giving back to the community, our club fosters growth and connection. This month, WIB members had the opportunity to volunteer with Spread the Love, a food and goods drive.
3/5: denver nuggets game member meet-up
We had the incredible opportunity to attend the Nuggets vs. Sacramento Kings game, thanks to Lyndsay Marchbanks and our inspiring panelists—Kerry Anne Biren, MIM, Emily Maguire, Meghan Murray, and Bekka Michaels Irwin.

Before tip-off, members heard from female professionals at Kroenke Sports & Entertainment about their careers in the sports industry. The night was made even more memorable as several members held the American flag on the court during the national anthem. We wrapped up the evening with an exciting game, where the Nuggets had a thrilling win in the fourth quarter.
3/8: march philanthropy event
Women in Business volunteers once a month! By giving back to the community, our club fosters growth and connection. This month, WIB members had the opportunity to volunteer at the Humane Society.
3/12: women in business x Real Estate Club Meeting
We were so excited to collaborate with the CU Boulder Real Estate Club for this week’s meeting. Members enjoyed a fun and informative Kahoot session and the chance to connect with peers from another great organization.

A special thank you to CREW Denver for joining us and sharing your professional experiences. Your insights into the real estate industry beyond the classroom were both inspiring and valuable as our members begin exploring career opportunities.
3/19: GOLD Board alumni panel meeting
This week, we partnered with the CU Gold Board for a dynamic networking event. Thanks to their support, members enjoyed snacks and the chance to connect with professionals across all areas of emphasis at Leeds.

4/2: boston beer company speaker meeting
We welcomed McKenna Jones and Lucy Wilson from The Boston Beer Company to share their career journeys. Their insights into professional growth and the rewarding aspects of their roles offered valuable inspiration to members exploring opportunities in the industry.​
4/16: Midnight lunch speaker meeting
During our recent event with Midnight Lunch, we heard from founder Abby Green about her journey as an entrepreneur. Abby shared how passion and perseverance helped her navigate uncertainty and build a successful company, leaving members inspired and motivated.
4/18: April philanthropy event
Women in Business volunteers once a month! By giving back to the community, our club fosters growth and connection. This month, WIB members had the opportunity to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity.
4/30: end of semester meeting
For our final meeting of the year, we wrapped things up with a fun and casual celebration featuring free pizza, exclusive company goodies from Midnight Lunch, and the opportunity to connect with fellow members of Women in Business. It was a great way to reflect on the semester, build community, and look ahead to what’s next!
